Mental Health Week October 5 -11 2008
Mental Health Week aims to activate, educate and engage Victorians around mental health and related issues through the organisation of a huge variety of events by individuals and organisations across the state.
The theme for Mental Health Week 2008 in Victoria is Mental Health: What do you know? We are asking Victorians what do they know about mental health.
We also support World Mental Health Day on October 10th. The theme for WMHDay, as set by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) is 'Making Mental Health a Global Priority: Scaling Up Services Through Citizen Advocacy and Action'. For further information on World Mental Health Day contact the World Federation for Mental Health at info@wfmh.com or visit www.wmhday.net.
